As a graduate of the prestigious Parsons University, designer Brandi Russell believes she was born with fashion innovation in her blood. Having dreams of being a fashion designer from an early age, Russell spent years honing her craft making dresses for her friends, family and herself, even creating a frenzy during prom with her custom show stopping gown. In 2008, Russell established Sacred Heart Collections, a clothing line that takes a page from Brandi’s personal stylebook and is inspired by style icon Coco Chanel.
