While Kate Middleton’s wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton, the label bore: Alexander McQueen. Needless to say the designer lives on, be it through his label still baring his name, or through the many memories and icons, he’s left in his wake. This week the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibition, Alexander McQueen, Savage Beauty opens and it’s a must-see. More than 100 iconic pieces spanning the designer’s body of work from 1992 until his final 2010 collection are on display. We can’t wait to check it out.
