Donatella Versace opened her newest store yesterday. A 1,785-square foot SoHo outpost on Mercer Street designed by architect JamieFobert. The store offers a selection of the ready-to-wear pieces along with a more affortable roster of collaborations. First up is Versus designer Christopher Kane giving the world a line of tees with iconic Versace archive images, golden earphones with the Medusa logo. These downtown chic Versaces goodies came at the perfect time, THE HOLIDAYS! Each item offered would make a great gift and affordable to the buyer or Santa Clause. It wouldnt be a Versace Opening without a Versace party! Jennifer Hudson, Melanie Fiona, Maxwell, and Kanye West were runway ready as they attended an invite only cocktail reception celebrating the opening of Versace’s newest boutique in New York’s stylish SOHO district. The dressed in all black celebrities came to support the Designer in Her new endevors in the big city.
