In Milan, Gucci ran the runway with their spring ready to wear collection. This collection included white, black, bold and bright, and prints such as python and an anemone. Bolds and bright colors included fuchsia, coral, cobalt blue, bright yellow and teal. The reoccurring retro glam was present in tiered ruffles that ran down various items in the show. Cut out backs were seen on some of the items in the collection.
According to program notes, the collection was inspired by photographers Richard Avedon and Gian Paolo Barbieri, both of who are distinctly known for their editorial and portraiture work.
Chunky necklaces, deep plunging dresses, and emphasis on sleeves that were present in the show would be sure to create a distinctive evening look. The show was a prefect mix of high fashion with easy going. Looks that would calmly steal the evening with silhouette and style as without the extreme bold look of high fashion. Just another great ready to wear collection by Gucci.
