The light and airy feel of Donna Karan’s SS13 line had swept the streets of New York. Guests spotted at her show include Angela Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons. Her line, consisting of loose silks, tulle, tweed and crinkled wax-coated cotton created a soft sea essence. Colors such as eggshell, oyster, sea foam, peach, midnight blue remind me of those found on a cold spring day walking along side the beach. Messy buns pulled back with thick sculptural headbands give a chic edge to the dress down/relaxed look as the models walked down the runway. Styles and draping in the show provided a classic, sophisticated airy feel that is sure to be seen flowing on the streets and in the parks this spring.
